What springs to your mind if you see. Waterloo?

What springs to mind, days long ago. At the end of the last war I was posted to Brussels that about ten mile from where the battle of Waterloo was fought. At Waterloo there is the Lion situated on the top of a man made hill and I spent quite a few happy hours there. Never gave it a thought until you asked that question. Thanks.
