Just over 1 mile. Walk to the north side of the bridge (the opposite side to Waterloo Station). Turn left into the Strand and get a number 6, 13, or 23 bus, or walk down the Strand to Trafalgar Square; turn right into Charing Cross Road and left at Centrepoint into Oxford Street
